BACKGROUND

Mission:

In recognition of the importance of voluntary and humanitarian work and the role being played by the civil societies to enhance reconstruction, development, capacity building and enlightenment of the local communities for effective participation in development, Rise emerged as a new addition and challenge to NGOs with mandates of capacity building, health and environmental awareness, relief amendments of social infrastructure, peace building, fighting of the bad practices and community based women participation.

Rise coordinates it’s work with both national and International voluntary Agencies.

Purpose:

RDO is established and registered as non-governmental, non-profit, non-partisan Organization and for charitable purposes with Humanitarian Aid Commission (HAC) in August, 2006.

Objectives

C Education as the main goal for human development

C Elimination of Poverty, crime, and unemployment

C Culture of Peace and Non-Violence

C Help needy-war affected and disaster.

C Prevention of environmental that is related to socio-economic development.

C To achieve local capacity building and sustainable development.

C Promotion of basic needs, services, education, water and health.

C Elimination of traditional practice and its negative affect.

C Promotion and development of women Capacity.

C Support disables and orphans.

C Cooperation with all the communities, governmental institutes, humanitarian Aid to consolidate the stability and unity.
